Kia kicks-Off FIFA World Cup Campaign

Kia has kicked off its FIFA Under-17 World Cup sponsorship by handing over 80 of its passenger vehicles to FIFA’s Local Organising Committee. The cars will be used to transport officials and executives around the Emirates during the competition, which is organised by the UAE and runs from October 17th to November 8th 2013.
The official handover ceremony was held in Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi and was attended by senior representatives of FIFA, Kia Motors Corporation, FIFA’s Local Organisation Committee and Al Majid Motors Co., the sole distributor of Kia Motors in the UAE. Included in the fleet of cars for the tournament were Kia’s Quoris, Optima, Cerato, Rio, Picanto, from Sedan range followed by MPV’s Carnival and Carens and its 4WD Sportage and Sorento models.
