King Felipe VI of Spain Decorates Talal Abu-Ghazaleh

The Order of commander of Civil Merit was presented to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh by the Spanish Ambassador to Jordan.

The Order of commander of Civil Merit in Spain has been bestowed upon HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh by His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain in recognition of Abu-Ghazaleh’s efforts in serving the community and in improving relations between Jordan and Spain.

The Order of commander of Civil Merit was presented to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh by the Spanish Ambassador to Jordan in a reception ceremony held in honor of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, at the Spanish Embassy residence.

The Ambassador read the Order signed by His Majesty the King and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, explaining that the honor is granted in recognition of the virtuous and honorable character of Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh in the service of the nation. She added that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh is awarded the Order of Civil Merit with the rank of Commander and that he is authorized to use the badges that correspond to this distinction in conformity with the law.
