Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort to participate in World Travel Market 2011

Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort, an upmarket Moroccan-style property in the heart of Fujairah, announces its participation at this year’s World Travel Market (WTM) which will run from 7^th to 10^th November in London.

The delegation will seek new partnership with travel agents and tour operators to promote Miramar Al Aqah and the emirate of Fujairah as a first class tourist destination.

Mr. Ashraf Helmy, General Manager & Area Business Development Manager, who heads the delegation said: “This year we are expecting higher demand for our hotel and destination as Fujairah became quite popular in both European & CIS markets. Al Aqah became a destination that attracts travelers from everywhere due to the great efforts exerted by the hotel companies and tourism board of Fujairah. We will also be announcing that we will start building our new hotel in Fujairah as well as the shopping and entertainment center.”

Mr. Helmy expects that their participation at this year’s WTM will further boost the property’s performance for the remainder of the year. He added: “The year 2011 is going to be very good. We expect an overall occupancy rate of around 85 per cent. For 2012, we expect a good season for the global tourism business and I do believe that the worst for the industry is over.”

Miramar Al Aqah will be exhibiting within the UAE stand along with other hotel properties in Fujairah. The group will promote the hotel being a first class resort offering great service with great value for money including its great location, great views and surrounding. Miramar Al Aqah is famous for its Moroccan-style building that compliments the natural surrounding.
