Nakheel Races on With Dubai Fitness Challenge With 10000 Run at Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk

Nearly 100 Nakheel staff took part in a 10k run on Palm Jumeirah this morning as the developer launched its events for week 2 of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
The run was held on Palm Jumeirah’s Crescent Boardwalk, with John Davidson, General Counsel, winning the men’s race in 49 minutes, 18 seconds. The winning lady, May Rahima, Assistant Manager, Sponsorship and Events, crossed the finishing line in 1 hour, 6 minutes and 48 seconds.
The 10k race is one of dozens of sports and fitness initiatives from Nakheel for Dubai Fitness Challenge. The company is backing the initiative with with outdoor pop-up fitness centres at Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Islands, The Gardens, Jumeirah Village Triangle and Ibn Battuta Mall, with additional activities at Golden Mile Galleria on The Palm, including a specially-created workout session with the world’s most influential fitness celebrity, Kayla Itsines. It is also holding daily morning and evening fitness events for its 1,300 employees.
