Omantel Starts Pre-Orders for Samsung Galaxy Note 8

The Galaxy Note 8's screen is the largest ever screen on a Note device.

Omantel customers can pre-order the phone priced at RO365 between August 31 and September 15 with the options of upfront payment or easy monthly installments for 12 or 24 months with Baqati smartphones postpaid plans. Through Omantel’s e-shop, customers can have the latest devices delivered to their doorstep.

The newest offering from Samsung boasts a larger screen, a superior camera and a powerful processor, among other features.

Customers who pre-order the phone will be entitled to a free AKG Speaker worth RO65.

Mohammed al Hakmani, Consumer Core Services manager at Omantel said, “Omantel is committed to providing its customers with the latest technologies and we are very excited to bring to them the amazing experience of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. At 6.3", the Galaxy Note 8's screen is the largest ever screen on a Note device. The screen is almost bezel-less allowing users to experience infinity display.

The dual camera has a wide-angle camera that comes with great low-light capabilities. The telephoto camera provides 2x optical zoom capability allowing users to capture near and far objects.
