Rafid Announces the “Emirates Women” Initiative

In recognition of the efforts and achievements of Emirati women in various fields, Rafid Automotive Solutions, a subsidiary of Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, announced that all women in the United Arab Emirates will be given the opportunity to obtain a free car wash and vehicle inspection for four days, from 28 to 31 August 2021.

The new initiative, called “Emirates Women”, was launched by the company on the occasion of Emirati Women's Day, as an expression of its appreciation for the contributions of women nationals to UAE society, and in the unwavering fulfillment of their duties in their homes to their families and in the workplace. Besides Emirati women, female expatriate residents are also eligible to avail the free services at Rafid.

His Excellency Salim Saeed Al Midfa, CEO of Rafid Automotive Solutions, said: “The launch of the Emirates Women serves as a token of our appreciation for all women in the UAE whose efforts, perseverance and commitment towards their homeland and families are celebrated by the entire community. This forms part of our corporate social responsibility, which the company’s senior leadership take very seriously.”

Al Midfa stressed that the government, thanks to the directives of its wise leadership, provides women with all means of support and empowerment to enable them to make positive contributions to the development of society, and to provide them with opportunities for personal and professional advancement in whatever endeavor they choose to undertake, in the process giving them more confidence in their abilities and fulfill their potential to excel and become part of the Emirates’ progress.

Eligible women can avail of the offer by visiting the main center of Rafid Automotive Solutions (AutoXpress), located in the Al Azra area on the Sharjah Ring Road, from Saturday to Thursday, between 8:00 am and until 4:00 pm. The service is on a first-come-first-served basis, without the need for prior appointment.
