Now everyone can enjoy their favorite music, photos and videos from multiple digital devices in theatre-like quality on their TV, with the LG DP1B and DP1W multimedia players.

That’s because the LG DP1B and DP1W multimedia players support the all-new 1080p24 format, the digital mastering format widely adopted by the movie industry. In Cinema Mode, viewers can enjoy movies in the 24 frames per second that they’re shot in. Movies in this format, as well as the Full HD (1920 x 1080p) format, can be enjoyed with an HDMI connection (cable not included).

The theatre-like image is complemented by high-fidelity audio, with the LG DP1B and DP1W multimedia players supporting DTS and Dolby 5.1 channel sound. Alternatively, digital media content can be enjoyed on a normal TV or stereo with the advanced downmix function.

With the LG DP1B and DP1W multimedia players, users can even access Internet content including YouTube for videos, Picasa for images and AccuWeather for the latest weather updates on their TV. The DP1W provides both wireless and wired network access, while the DP1B can access a wireless network with an optional USB dongle.

The best part is it’s all as easy as plug and play. Once connected to the TV, user-friendly menus make for easy navigating – so there’s no need for reading instructions – and content can be enjoyed right away.

Searching for images is easy, with photos displayed as thumbnails. And with two USB ports, the DP1B and DP1W multimedia players can connect two different digital devices simultaneously, allowing copying between them. For added convenience, the multimedia players can read a variety of formats, so time isn’t wasted converting files.
