Syria's Transport Minister Dr. Makram Obeid Tuesday opened "The First International Motor Show at the Fair Grounds in Damascus.
In a statement to SANA news agency, Obeid said that prices of cars in Syria will witness "a remarkable drop" due to the new government resolutions regarding pricing.
The director of the organizing company, Khalil al-Jaban, said that 50 international car companies were taking part in the four-day show, referring to a separate pavilion which includes cars’ accessories and spare parts. (menareport.com)
