Saudi Advanced Electronics seeks global status

Since the company’s establishment more than a decade ago, the turnover of the Saudi Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) totaled 800 million Saudi riyals, of which SR500 million were contracts with the Swedish Ericsson Company.  

 

AEC was established in 1988 with a paid-up capital of SR 110.5 million under the directives of government of Saudi Arabia to create local capabilities in strategic areas like advanced manufacturing technologies, communication systems, and product support. 

 

According to Al-Watan newspaper, the chief executive of the Company, Abdulaziz Al- Sugair, said that the company is striving to achieve a global leading status in the area of designing and producing electronics and support services, for military and commercial customers.
