Singapore's United Overseas Bank (UOB) said Thursday, August 17, it has teamed with US-based electronics commerce service provider 3Fusion to enhance services to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Under the agreement, 3Fusion will provide UOB with a range of services that will allow the bank's SME clients across the Asia-Pacific region to transact business through the Internet quickly and at a lower cost, UOB said in a statement.
"I am certain our partnership will help UOB's customers enter the e-commerce market rapidly, cost-effectively and successfully," 3Fusion chief executive officer Jason Lim.
Iris Chua, senior vice president of uobgroup.com Division, said "this partnership with 3Fusion is timely and strategic as it enables us to offer SMEs a comprehensive suite of services, in addition to our current online services."
The bank is one of the four biggest in Singapore. — (AFP)
