The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs692.70 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs303 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs389.6 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 41 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Raffa that was sold for Dhs35 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Nad Al Shiba acquired for the sum of Dhs30 million and another in Al Murqabat for Dhs27.216 million.

 

The Mirdif area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 7 transactions. Al Barsha First followed it with 3 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Barsha First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs54.03 million, followed by the Al Raffa area, Dhs35 million, and Nad Al Shiba area, Dhs30 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 3000085 sq ft in the Nad Al Shiba area, which went for Dhs30 million. A 30000 sq ft plot in the Ras Al Khor Area was acquired for Dhs7.5 million, while 28719.72 sq ft of Emirates Hills Second was disposed of for Dhs21 million.

 

During the period under review 32 mortgages worth Dhs385.1 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs114.52 million for an area at Al Nahda First. There was another for Dhs64 million on an area in Al Murqabat
