Gross auction sales from World Wide Auctioneers’ 18th unreserved construction auction in Dubai exceeded $15.1 million, with more than 350 registered bidders from 20 countries participating. The auction took place last month.
WWA was acquired as a wholly owned subsidiary of NovaMed on Aug. 8, 2003. The company introduced new video screens to present the items for sale, and wireless electronic bidding at the recent auction. The video screen presentation allows buyers to see machine specifications and asking prices in multiple currencies, and also provides the capability to "virtually" sell machines at the auction that are not physically running over the ramp.
WWA sells, through unreserved auctions, a wide variety of new and used construction, transportation, industrial, and marine equipment, focusing on markets in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. — (menareport.com)
