Zagil Wireless has conducted an extensive general board meeting including many prospective bankers and investors, the executive management team and the prospective Iraqi engineers who will build and operate the anticipated mobile network.
Founding member and Chief Executive Officer of Zagil Wireless, Francis Dinha Alzebari and Chief Strategy Officer Zagil Wireless Asaad Yahya Alnajjar, elaborated on the fundamentals of the network ownership and shares offering, already submitted to the CPA and stated: "From day one this operation is put to serve Iraq's communications needs and to benefit the Iraqi community first. We are Iraq's gateway to build an advanced technology future".
They further explained that this will be achieved via a five point route. This includes 50 percent of ownership to be sold right away to Iraqi investors through an already established agreement with Sumer Bank in Iraq and through all other Iraqi banks. The other 50 percent of the ownership shares will go to the Executive management team, the Iraqi operations engineers and administrative staff and all other global vendors and investors.
Zagil's management and founding team consists of Iraqi patriots from US and Europe. The board will include prominent Iraqi business and elite sector. Vendors will provide extensive training to fill in the gap for any Iraqi member of the staff and to build a solid base for Iraq's communications infrastructure. — (menareport.com)
