The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights released a new report that increases the death toll in Syria to 150,000, AFP reports.
The British based organization has people on the ground in Syria and says it documented the deaths of 150,344 people. Roughly 50,000 of those counted were civilians and almost 8,000 were children.
The group also reported that roughly 35,000 members of the opposition have been killed, while almost 60,000 regime forces have died in fighting, according to AFP.
The Syrian civil war is now in its fourth year and has displaced millions.
