Student's father throws bomb in school courtyard in Libya

ALBAWABA The Libyan security authorities have taken into custody a parent who allegedly threw a hand grenade into the courtyard of a school following disciplinary actions taken against his daughter by one of the teachers.
 

According to the Benghazi Security Directorate, the individual was apprehended by security personnel from the Ras Ebeida Police Center after the incident at the "AmelWaeed" school. 

The parent reportedly engaged in verbal abuse and threats directed at the school staff. The authorities have confirmed his lawful detention at the center.

The arrested parent, identified as A.S.M and born in 1977, admitted to the accusations during interrogation. He remains in legal custody at the Ras Ebeida Police Center, awaiting further action by the appropriate authorities.

The extent of any damages resulting from the incident has not been clarified by the Benghazi Security Directorate.
