ALBAWABA - Egyptian dancer Fifi Abdou has been under a wave of criticism after her latest advertisement in which the Egyptian artist wore clothes from a boycotted brand.

The Egyptian dancer and actress appeared in her latest ad wearing Balenciaga pieces which is under a boycott campaign over the latest Israeli aggressive war on Gaza that started on Oct. 7.

The Israeli attacks and attacks on Gaza have so far left at least 37,202 Palestinians killed and about 84,932 others injured, according to the Wednesday report by the Gaza Ministry of Health.

Fifi Abdo justifies wearing Balenciaga in a new ad

In a new ad for a Plastic magazine on Instagram, Fifi Abdo wore clothes from Balenciaga, which supports Israel and is under a huge boycott campaign for that.

Fans accused Fifi Abdo of abandoning Palestinians who are under bombing after she appeared in Balenciaga clothes and that she is not supporting Palestine and Gaza, nor is she interested in the campaign to boycott Israeli products.

In a statement, the Egyptian star commented on the attack she was subjected to because of her appearance in a Balenciaga advertisement, saying: "I have no interest in politics and I do not understand it. I do my job and that's it, people love me and this is an international brand."
