Spain got a well-deserved 2-0 win today against France at the Dallas Stadium in the USA, in the semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Spain controlled the game, and proved they deserve to reach the final. On the other hand, France was confused in defense and lost the midfield battle during the whole match. They were absent in attack and could not break Spain's strong defense.

Spain started the match strongly from the beginning. They got a penalty kick after Lamine Yamal smartly forced Lucas Digne to foul him. Mikel Oyarzabal stepped up to take the penalty and scored it successfully in the 22nd minute.
Spain continued to press and control the ball, keeping their 1-0 lead until the end of the first half. At the start of the second half, Dani Olmo gave a great assist to Pedro Porro, who doubled the lead and scored the second goal for his country in the 58th minute.
