Hot off the press, Halima Poland will be starring in a new TV drama. The Kuwait artist will be stepping into the realm of Egyptian television for the first time in "Al Mawqif" (The Incident) after being nominated for the part by actress Afaf Shuaib.
According to Sayidaty.net, the plot of the drama comes from a novel written by young author Sameh Al shaji. Director Amro Abdeen has taken hold the story and will direct it into life.
This exciting announcement comes on the heels of a press release from Syrian actress Jumana Murad withdrawing from the drama. It was speculated that Halima was nominated to replace the newlywed star and will play the character that was previously offered to Jumana.
