This is not the first time Syrian actress Amal Arafa sparks controversy with her new series Sharae Chicago "Chicago Street."
But this time the actress crossed a lot of red lines with a scene that was branded as 'disgusting' by most of social media commentators.
Samaher, played by Amal Arafa, was seen sitting on a chair and Kromo, played by actor Mustapha Al-Mustapha, portraying the role of a submissive man obeying his lady.
Kromo went to the maximum in the scene letting Samaher rub her feet in his face and then he kissed them.
The Arab audience was shocked to see this kind of disgraceful scene that is contradictory to Arabic customs and traditions, demanding the crew to apologize.
One follower said: "I don't know is it the trend now; the more immoral the series the buzzier it gets?" and another one wrote: "What's the advantage of such a scene?"
In the early episodes of the series, Chicago Street has sparked outrage because of the street words used in dialogue.
The promotional poster received backlash as well for capturing Sulaf Fawakherji and Mahyar Kaddour in an intimate position.
