Internationally known Egyptian actor Omar Al Shareef lost his temper at the Tarabika Festival in Doha, Qatar and slapped a journalist trying to take a photo with him. The actor had asked the female journalist to wait her turn to take a picture with him, but she kept on insisting leading him to lose control.

The incident was captured on camera and the video has been circulated over the internet. The video shows the young lady repeatedly asking the actor to take a picture with him and he began shouting at her telling her to wait her turn then slapped her. The video does not show if the actor’s hand touched the young woman’s face.

Omar’s actions shocked everyone present at the scene and gave rise to negative criticism against him by those that watched the video.

After the actor calmed down, he walked up to the journalist, who works for the news channel “Al Hurra” that airs from the United States, and apologized to her and took a photo with her as if nothing had happened.

This is not the first time the actor lost his temper in public. In 2003 he was accused of attacking a police officer at a Casino in Paris and in 2007 he attacked a valet parking personal in Beverly Hills.
