ALBAWABA - Tom Holland shared an awkward story about messaging Erling Haaland.
Tom Holland may be one of the most well-known actors right now, but even Spider-Man is occasionally overlooked. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Holland told a hilarious story about trying to connect with Norway's Erling Haaland after seeing him at the Monaco Grand Prix last month.
When Fallon asked him if the claim was genuine, he referenced a tweet on X, now known as Twitter, that read, "He doesn't watch movies, so he thought he was a random person."

Tom Holland came clean, admitting he decided to "shoot his shot" after seeing the Norwegian striker in a hospitality suite across from his. "I was at Monaco. I was watching Lewis race, and I saw him," Holland recalled. "He was in a hospitality suite across from me, and I just thought I'd shoot my shot. Send him a text.
Unfortunately for the actor, the message never received a response. "I'll tell you what - that is exactly the type of humbling experience that is important for actors," Holland quipped. "
You're like, 'I'll text him. I'll take him to dinner," he said. "Not even a response. nor an excuse, nor 'I'm busy tonight'. I'm playing football.' Nada." The Odyssey star admitted, "I never imagined I'd talk about it on live television."
When Fallon asked if he'd still be willing to have dinner with the football player, Holland joked that the opportunity could have passed. "I don't think he would have dinner with me after the other day," he said, referring to Norway's loss to England.
We know that the impression that Haaland does not watch movies is not totally accurate. He is well aware of Channing Tatum's identity. In a viral video, content producer Mancity presented him a little doll that resembled him save for his short hair. Haaland asked where the hair was, saying it "looks like Channing."
When asked who he was referring to, the creator repeated one of his most memorable lines from 21 Jump Street: "My name is Jeff." He also follows Tanning on Instagram.
However, the rest of his following list is primarily focused on athletics. There aren't many Hollywood A-listers, no Kardashians or Jenners, but there are some well-known Latin music artists, such as Shakira and J Blavin.
It's safe to say Tom Holland isn't the only star hoping to have some one-on-one time with the athlete. He's become one of the most well-known athletes since the World Cup.
