World acclaimed actor, Omar Al Sharif celebrated by East and West last seen acting the title role (Monsieur Ibrahim) in a love story between Arab Muslim and Jew, 2003, has now decided to retry his hand at books. He has assigned his personal secretary a renowned writer, Ms. Salwa Baker, to set to work on his memoirs that will script his adventures, acting career, and of natural interest, his various love affairs.

According to "Ya Mazaji", in his book, Omar proposes to discuss his 25 unfaithful years of marriage to actress Faten Hamamah with whom he bore one son, Tarek. He also admits to his secret marriage to actress Suhair Ramzi, which lasted a brief spell of months.

The actor will also shed light on his relationship with Jewish- American diva, Barbra Streisand, to whom he almost got married, were it not for the objection of the Jewish Lobby in America.

Still not ready just yet to retire from our screens, fortunately, the legendary actor is contemplating a role in the new upcoming movie titled "Facebook," due to  star many newcomers while guest-starring a good few acting giants as well as Sharif.  Actors such as Yusra, Mustafa Qmar, Ashraf Zaki, and Samir Ghanem are potential co-stars in this film, that no doubt captures the zeitgiest of social networking and the Arab enthusiasm it attracts.
