Director Enas Bakr, who is the agent of legendary Egyptian actor Omar Sharif, denied rumors that the actor is refusing to come back to Egypt. Press reports stated that Sharif was so worried about a Muslim Brotherhood candidate - Morsy - winning the election that he would never go back to the country again. But his agent says it's nonsense and he's just on vacation in France.
According to the London based Elaph, the delay in Sharif’s return home is simply due to the fact that Lebanese director Mohammad Yasin has postponed filming the new movie “Ishaet Hub” (Love Rumor), which Omar will star in, until conditions in Egypt are more stable and calm. Rumor has it the film will have an enormous budget and will be a blockbuster hit.
