Syrian actress Raghda has accused Syrian singer Asalah Nasri of being a traitor for publicly announcing her opposition against the current Syrian government and President Bashar Al Asad. Raghda stressed that Asalah has sold her patriotism and turned against her country by supporting protesters demanding the resignation of Bashar’s government.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Raghda proudly stated that she will always remain supportive of Bashar Al Asad and she will go on strike with other supporters of Bashar demanding that the opposition and corrupt be stopped. Raghda has praised Syrian actress Sulaf Al Fawakhirji for her stance and unconditional support of Bashar Al Asad stating that she considers Sulaf a conscious woman.
During a television interview Raghda said that she admires Asalah’s voice and believes that Syria had given her so much, but then again Raghda stated that Asalah’s Gulf passport made her forget her home country and made her careless of events taking place in it.
