Another day, another celebrity rumor denial. Moroccan actress Maisa Al Moghrabi has dismissed rumors that she was banned from entering the Holy Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on account of her part in television drama “Libat Al Maraa Rajul” (Man a Woman’s Toy). Instead she volunteers the truth of her former marriage.
The Islamic authorities of the conservative Kingdom were not too pleased by what they deemed indecent material left uncensored from the show. Purportedly black-listed, Maisa revealed during a heated episode of the Lebanese-hosted talk-show “Ana Wel Asal” (Me and My Honey), that a certain scandalous photograph that exposed her and a Saudi actor in a compormising manner was fabricated. She candidly told that the dubious photo caused the breaking off of her engagement with her Saudi fiancé.
Maisa went further into the intimate ins and outs of her now-dead relationship, sharing luridly that her ex-fiancé did not trust her enough to believe that the photo was fabricated and failed to stand by her side at a time when she needed him most to deal with the scandal she faced.
Maisa's marital mishaps
Maisa did not stop there. On a roll, the celebrity who might as well have been sat on a therapist's sofa, somewhat wrecklessly revealed to the audience that 'another mistake' in her life was her three-year marriage to an Emirati. Maybe when it comes to affairs of the heart, the Moroccan-born UAE native actress should set her sights away from the Arabian Gulf peninsula?
What do you think of Maisa's TV break-down about her real-life break-up?
