Moroccan actress and producer Maisa Moghrabi has finally completed filming the scenes for the new television drama “Li’bat Al Mar’ah Rajul” (Man is Woman's Play-thing) .  The show was adapted from the novel of the same name by Saudi author Sarah Al Alewi. The script and dialogue are by Ahmed Moghrabi and direction is by Jordanian director Eyad Al Khazuz.

Maisa is placing all her efforts and focus on the project, especially after her backing out of the drama “Hawameer Al Sahra4” (Mafia of the Desert 4).

The Saudi Censorship Committee had banned the novel “Li’bat Al Mar’ah Rajul” (Man Is Woman's Toy) from being distributed in the Kingdom, but it was welcomed by Maisa. She saw great potential in the banned book since it presents important social issues that concern society as a whole, especially those in Saudi society.

The novel was the second best selling book in all of the United Arab Emirates. The new drama will go in depth into the Saudi society to shed light on hidden secrets through the character of ‘Reem’, who will be played by Maisa. The character of ‘Reem’ is very jealous of her brother, who gets the most attention from their  family. Her jealously grows to the point that she decides to ruin his personal and married life until she has total control of it. Her actions ultimately drag the entire family into a bad situation.

The drama stars Maisa, Ibrahim Al Harbi, Ibrahim Al Zadhali, Shihab Jawhar, Amirah Mohamed, Yacub Al Farhan, Shatha Sabt, Mariam Al Ghamdi and a number of newcomers.

The scenes were filmed all over the Arab world including countries like Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain. In addition, some outdoor scenes were filmed in Switzerland.
