Sherine Abdel Wahab apologized to superstars Amr Diab and Elissa after making fun of them at Amr Youssef and Kinda Alloush's wedding.
A video was leaked from the wedding party, where Sherine looked "out of it" as she bashed Diab for his old age and Elissa for her fake face in a satirical speech.
On Monday, Sherine said in a voice message that "I was at a private party when I made the comments, I was joking."
"When I'm on TV I never ever insult anyone; I praise each star and give them value," she added.
Sherine said that she doesn't want anyone to be upset with her and repeatedly insisted that she was joking, pointing out that she even made fun of herself in the speech.
"I actually think that everyone is better than me. I never think that I'm better than anyone," she said.
The singer pointed out that "we all make mistakes, and I apologize to those who like and dislike me."
