Sherine Abdel Wahab had a Paula Abdul moment at fellow Egyptian stars Khaled Youssef and Kinda Alloush's wedding last week.
The singer-actress (and now TV host) was acting peculiar on stage as she made an impromptu speech at their ceremony.
Giggling like a tipsy singleton on a Friday night, Sherine insulted two of the Arab world's most popular singers.
First, Sherine told the wedding guests that Egypt has two singers to be proud of: Tamer Hosny and Mohamed Hamaki (both just happened to be at the wedding). She then told everyone that "that other guy is too old now and should give it a rest."
"It's our time now," the 36-year-old added.
Fans believe that she was referring to 55-year-old Amr Diab, who is one of the top-selling artists in the history of Arabic music.
Diab's never-changing youthful face is a running joke on Arabic social media, which is why his fans are convinced he's the man meant in Sherine's comments.
But Sherine didn't stop there. Oh, no. She went on to rub Lebanese superstar Elissa's fans the wrong way, after saying that "Hamaki loves Elissa, but many people love me too, and at least I'm all natural: No injections/Botox/fillers." Ouch.
Neither Amr nor Elissa have responded to Sherine.
