For travelers, listening to airplane safety instructions over and over again can get pretty damn tedious.

Consequently, airlines have been getting creative with how they present the information (you can find great examples here).

The last two entertaining in-flight safety videos I’ve seen were Qatar Airways starring FC Barcelona, and United’s videostarring Team USA Olympic athletes.

One of the first things they tell you when producing content is to be relevant, know your audience

Middle East Airlines achieved full understanding of the elements that interest Lebanese. Quality wise, hell, it’s poor –no argument can save that.

It can never top the professionalism of Qatar Airways or Virgin Atlantic. But in terms of the features –dance, Lebanese music, well-humored presenters, and sights of Lebanon –the video gets an A+.

WE SAID THIS: It may not be much, but it’s a step forward for the Lebanese company, and we can’t but encourage them.
