ALBAWABA - Israeli settlers set fire to a mosque in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, northern West Bank, Al Jazeera reported Sunday.
According to local sources, during their raid on Qusra town, settlers burned Al-Rahma mosque. They also wrote racist slogans in Hebrew on its walls, in a new escalation of their attacks in the West Bank.
Sources added that the fire caused extensive damage to the building, including the ablution area and entrances, before withdrawing from the town.
The sources added that the settlers also carried out other attacks in the town, including vandalizing residents' property and stealing some belongings.
This comes amid Israeli forces' storming of a residential building during their raid on Nablus city.
