The clash between Jordanian singer Diana Karazon and producer Mohammad Al Majali has caused the singer to disappear completely from the scenes after a court ruling ruled in Mohammad’s favor. The court sentenced Diana to 90 days imprisonment, in addition to paying a fine of 100 thousand Jordanian Dinars.
Since the dilemma, Diana refrained from making any public appearance and turned off her cellular phone and disappeared from the scenes.
According to the London based Elaph, despite the fact that the singer had previously announced that she intends on holding several performances during the holy month of Ramadan, due to the clash and a complaint Mohammad had submitted to the Musicians Union, the singer was not present at any event during the holy month.
Mohammad had won the lawsuit he filed against Diana and the Jordanian judicial system ruled in his favor by seizing one of the singer’s bank account and transferring the fund in the account to Mohammad as a form of partial payment. Mohammad had submitted to the courts papers that prove Diana owed him 100 thousand Jordanian Dinars, and when the singer was notified she refused to pay the amount.
Diana is now wanted by the Interpol in Jordan and Egypt, and she cannot leave Egypt for fear of imprisonment.
