Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi has overcome her fear of singing in the Khaliji (Gulf) dialect and recorded two new songs composed by Gulf artist Fayez Saeed. The singer had been in doubt to take on such an experience fearing that it would not be up to standards, but her insistence on presenting something special to all her fans in the Gulf made her overcome such fears.
According to the London based Elaph, Haifa stated that until now she had not found the right song that would be suitable for her to sing in the Gulf dialect. The two songs Haifa completed were recorded in Fayez’s personal recording studio and her revealed that at first Haifa was very tense, but after recording the songs she became very relaxed.
It is said that Haifa intends on filming the two songs in the form of a music video in the near future. The first song is titled “Harami Qulub” (Stealer of hearts) and the second “Fukuh” (Leave him).
