Kuwaiti journalist Halima Poland has admitted that she kept the news of her pregnancy a secret from the public in the first few months, fearing that she may be jinxed. Halima said that her due date will be in the coming holy month of Ramadan.
Halima said that she is very thankful that she will enter motherhood and noted that it is the dream of every woman. She added that she is living the best times of her life and hopes that her pregnancy will not be a difficult one. Halima did note that the first few months had been hard on her and she has been craving mostly sweets.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Halima said that the year 2011 will be the best year of her life because it will witness the coming of her first child. Halima noted that when she learns the sex of the child she will not publicly announce it and keep it a secret.
