Egyptian musician Adel Haqqi, ex-fiancé of Egyptian actress Mina Fadaly, said that he was warmly congratulated by his friends and family for leaving Mina, whom he considers a "second-hand actress." Adel said that Mina created her popularity through scandals and rumors, and not through her acting talent.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Adel said that while he was engaged to Mina "she put on an act the entire time" and played with his emotions. Once the break-up was final, his friends and family told him that he is a lucky man to have finally ended the relationship, said Adel.
Adel also said that during the period of his engagement, many of his friends and family stopped talking to him and once he left Mina they returned.
According to Adel, he met Mina during a casual outing with friends and their relationship became a scandal that ended in court.
"Mina only pretended to be in love with me," said Adel, and the problems began from the start of the engagement.
Mina danced and flirted with different men during their engagement party, said Adel, adding that Mina’s actions during the party disgusted him.
