Lebanese singer Qamar has failed in proving the existence of a secret marriage between her and Egyptian businessman and owner of ‘Melody’ Jamal Marwan. Marwa claimed that she and Jamal had gotten married in Lebanon.
An Egyptian court had demanded that witnesses to the alleged marriage be called in on the hearing that held place on January 22, but Qamar failed in bringing anyone. Marwa’s lawyer had attempted to postpone the hearing to be able and bring witnesses and the court agreed to reschedule the hearing to March 4.
Marwa and her lawyer failed to attend the rescheduled hearing due to their failure to find witnessed to make their case stronger, and the court denied the original appeal and closed the case in favor of Jamal Marwan.
Marwan’s lawyer insisted on continuing the case, in which originally Marwa had also claimed that Marwan is the father of her child. The lawyer insisted on continuing the case to put an end to all of Qamar’s allegations and put everything behind.
