ALBAWABA - Amid continued drug operations, Turkish police arrested renowned film director Ezel Akay after discovering a marijuana farm at his home.
Photos and videos of the police raid on the house of the Turkish actor and director in the northwestern town of Inegöl show a full cultivation system inside the rooms and bathroom, complete with special lighting.
Local media reported that inspection teams found cannabis plants cultivated in a special system, along with a large quantity of hashish inside the house.
Police seized 1,131 grams of cannabis, 21 cannabis plants, an air conditioner, and various other items from Ezel Akay's house.
Police also arrested the director's brother, Eren Kazim Akay, and subjected both of them to drug tests before referring them to court.
