If you follow the Syrian conflict closely, you might remember a headline back in July about Daesh's (ISIS) takeover of the Mozeh Palace in Syria's ancient city of Palmyra.

The luxury estate originally belonged to the Qatari Royal Family, whe fled the area when Daesh began closing in on city in May.

Back then Daesh posted photos showing an indoor swimming pool, sprawling gazebos and huge bedrooms on their Homs Province media network, claiming the "castle for tyrants of Qatar" was now housing the group's chefs.

According to one Syrian who claimed to have worked for the royal family there, the residence even had floors with the same marble used in the holy mosque in Mecca.

Now it's showing up again on social media, this time purportedly being used as a training site for Daesh militants. Twitter users shared screen grabs from Daesh-affiliated media sites Monday showing black-clad fighters trekikng through the area with machine guns.

Here is one example.

This is hardly the first time Daesh's antics in Palmyra have come up in the news. The UNESCO site has been the scene of brutal clashes with Syrian government forces since earlier this year. Then this month, the group blew up the ancient Arch of Triumph, destroying yet another piece of Syria's quickly-disappearing history.
