The video of Israeli security forces storming a grocery store in East Jerusalem is sparking outrage on social media, in the latest show of escalating violence in East Jerusalem.

Purtportedly shot this Wednesday, CCTV footage shows several Israeli soldiers run into the store in pursuit of an unarmed Palestinian boy. The store's owner moves from behind the counter as more soldiers continue to file in after the fleeing boy. In the background, you see the owner being beaten by one officer as the rest apprehend the boy, knocking over shelving in the store during the struggle.

The clip is the most recent example of brutal confrontations between Israeli security forces and Palestinians following mounting tensions at Jerusalem's Al Aqsa compound last week.

Four Israelis were killed and more wounded in five separate knife attacks by Palestinian assailants this week. Then in clashes on Wednesday, Palestinian news agency Ma'an news said some 100 Palestinian protesters were wounded during confrontations with security forces in areas across the West Bank.

The extreme spike in violence has roused concerns of a third Intifada. And as clips like this surface, social media is heating up right alongside the action on the ground.
