U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday said that the days of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi are numbered. Noting that the United States is working in cooperation with international allies through the United Nations to prepare Libya for the post Gaddafi era.
Her remarks came during a meeting of the International Contact Group on Libya, held in Abu Dhabi. She stressed: "Time is in our side."
Meanwhile, the representative of the Libyan rebels at the conference said they were in need of assistance to the value of US$ 3 billion over the next four months to pay salaries and to meet the food needs of the population.
