‘Dubai Carnivals’ to add festive colour to DSF 2009
Dubai is set to become a kaleidoscope of colour this DSF when a different kind of circus comes to town. DSF 2009 will soon parade a colourful and vibrant array of performers and performance acts in the Dubai Carnivals event, and it’s happening all across the city.
This festive parade features a convergence of cultures and performances created to regale the crowds and spread the spirit of DSF across Destination Dubai. To be held during the weekends, each performance brings together 300 performers in one location who will take to the streets for a vibrant performance parade as the Dubai Carnivals reflects and celebrates different cultures and traditions with spectacular costumes and music.
Suhaila Gobash, Events Manager at DSF Office said, “Last year was a big success, which inspired us to create an even more vibrant parade for this edition of DSF. With 300 performers and a host of other attractions, Dubai Carnivals symbolizes the cultural harmony and diversity in Dubai, and showcases how truly cosmopolitan the city has become.”
