Two leading publishing houses in the UAE, Arab Media Group (AMG) and ITP have joined hands with Messe Frankfurt, the organisers of the Dubai Ideal Home Show, underlining the important role the show plays in the region in reaching out to the consumers. The event is scheduled to take place at the Airport Expo Dubai from November 30 to December 3, 2006.

“The show is an illustration of the impact of development that is sweeping the region,” said Abdul Lathif Al Sayegh, CEO of the Arab Media Group. “The event is being held at an opportune time for homebuyers and we are delighted to be a part of this ‘industry first’ initiative that brings together two leading publishers to support a show that in the end will benefit the consumer,” he said.

Walid Akawi, CEO of ITP remarked, “We are delighted to partner with Messe Frankfurt and AMG to create an effective marketing platform for every aspect of the home, interior design and decoration industry through our portfolio of publications.”

Christopher Hudson, Exhibition Director of Messe Frankfurt, said: “In today’s competitive business environment, for events to succeed, it is crucial to develop and execute a precise and consumer-centric marketing strategy to enhance the efficacy and return on marketing initiatives.”

“Our show has now become the most effective platform by bringing together two major publishing houses to support one show that is fast becoming the consumer event of choice for Dubai’s residents and visitors. Ideal Home Dubai provides a ‘one stop shop’ to see the very best that of local companies (retailers) have to offer,” Mr. Hudson stressed.

At last year’s show there were more than 200 exhibitors and over 7,500 visitors who had a chance to choose and decide their home environment. The attendance and participation this year is expected to be much higher following the coming together of the two leading publishing houses in the UAE.
The show is an ideal platform for the several segments in the industry including Interior Design, Kitchen to Table, Home Tech, Arts and Crafts, Garden & Landscaping, Property and Christmas Wonderland.
