The annual exhibition of goods produced by Egyptian families was inaugurated in Nassr city, Egypt on Thursday, reported Al Ahram Arabic Daily.
The ‘Productive Families’ Exhibition, which lasts until April 27, is comprised of 29 pavilions organized by seven cooperative societies whose total members amount to 1,159,640 families, according to Al Ahram.
Displayed items included wooden works, food and agricultural products, handicraft and clothes, among others.
Egypt’s first lady, Suzanne Mubarak, who inaugurated the event, called on the people to visit the exhibition and support the families who are trying to support their meager incomes by taking part in such an event – Albawaba.com
