GLAM brought the most sensational Dutch DJ, Fedde Le Grand, producer of the 2006 number 1 dance hit ‘Put your hands up for Detroit,’ and the astounding dance artist MC Chocolate Puma to perform last Thursday, 21st June, 2007 live at the Barajeel Ballroom, Fairmont Dubai.
Omar Saab, Head of Event Marketing, Cross Border Media FZ – LLC, said, “GLAM was considered a great success for all party goers in Dubai as they got to experience not only a club night, but an actual fashion party. The appearance by celebrities such as the international football players attending Akkroball was welcomed by all, as football enthusiasts roamed close to the players trying to capture photo moments”.
The names of players who showed their presence at the GLAM event were Patrick Luivert and Denny Landzaat (Holland), Didi Hamann and Piotr Trochowski (Germany), Andy Cole and Carlton Cole (England) .
Sponsors of the event include Swarovski, Bioderma, Exotic Cars and BurJuman. They were well portrayed through the use of their products and image such as Crystallized Swarovski Elements and the fashion models from Burjuman. Exotic cars also complemented the high-end party status with their sexy high performance vehicles on display.
