ALBAWABA- In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, the Jordanian Foreign Minister strongly criticized Israel's actions, stating that the country is pushing the entire region towards hell. The minister further declared that Jordan will not sign the energy and water exchange agreement with Israel.
Amid escalating tensions, the Foreign Minister highlighted the volatile situation in the West Bank, describing it as being on fire, with settlement terrorism and an escalating northern front with Lebanon.
He asserted that if any other country had engaged in similar actions, sanctions would have been imposed, adding that defense against occupation is a right.
The minister firmly condemned Israel's actions as war crimes, rejecting any notion that it could be justified as self-defense. He called on international institutions to take a clear position on the ongoing situation in Gaza.
Expressing concern for the long-term impact, the Foreign Minister emphasized the destruction of decades of efforts to build an environment of peace.
He revealed that Jordan is collaborating with its Arab counterparts in a joint effort to break the siege on the Gaza Strip.
