Twenty-one people were killed and another 50 injured late Friday when the tire blew out on a bus and the vehicle collided with a tanker truck near the capital, the police said.
The accident occurred about 50 kilometers (31 kilometers) south of Khartoum and involved a bus traveling from Kosti, 230 kilometers (143 miles) southwest of the capital, the police said.
