According to Anadolu and media reports, local authorities are evacuating Japanese people to hotels and inns to avoid the spread of Covid 19 as Japan is still facing scares from the 2019 pandemic.
Japan Meteorological Agency said that the snow reached as high as 13 centimeters (5.1 inches) in the earthquake-hit areas including the Ishikawa Prefecture.
Kyodo News Agency added that there has been no contact with more than 2,000 people amid down communication lines and road blockage as thousands took to shelters for protection.
