ALBAWABA - The death toll from a building collapse in southern Lebanon has risen to 10 Israeli soldiers, all members of the elite Golani Division.

Earlier, Hezbollah detonated the building in a border village, where Israeli soldiers were ambushed and killed, bringing the total number of casualties to 10, with more possible.

According to Israeli media, the Israeli soldiers were reported killed after a building collapsed while they were inside in Southern Lebanon.

This announcement came less than 24 hours after the army announced launching the second phase of the ground operation in Lebanon, expanding the scope of targets.

This marks the highest single-day loss of Israeli soldiers in Lebanon for November.

Israel has recently ramped up and expanded its attacks across Lebanon, killing and injuring dozens daily. On Tuesday alone, Israeli strikes killed 33 people across the country on Tuesday, among them many who the intensified conflict had displaced.

Israel has drastically increased its bombing campaign in Lebanon since September 23, focusing mostly on Beirut and the country's east and south regions. On September 30, Israeli forces invaded the nation.
