9 Israeli officers killed in separate deadly clashes in Gaza

The situation remains tense with Israeli media declaring today the toughest day for the Israeli army since war's onset.

ALBAWABA- Israeli sources have confirmed that nine officers and soldiers lost their lives, with others sustaining injuries, in two distinct attacks during the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. 

According to reports, one attack resulted from an ammunition explosion in a truck, causing casualties among the Israeli forces. 

The second incident involved the bombing of a building housing soldiers in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. 

Simultaneously, the military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, claimed to have thwarted a Zionist attempt to liberate Israeli prisoners in the Bureij camp. 

The clash ensued after the infiltration of a special force, resulting in casualties among the infiltrators. 

Al-Qassam Brigades further reported that they successfully killed and wounded members of the Special Forces, managing to retain some of their belongings.
