Abbas denounces the military operation in Gaza

According to BNA, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday denounced the military operation in the Gaza Strip that resulted of killing an Israeli and his wife.
An official spokesman said that this operation is a violation against the state of calm and Cairo agreement on truce, adding that it gives the Israeli side justifications to re-act against our people and leadership. "These operations at time of Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip do not serve our national unity, threaten our national security and weaken the PNA credibility on international level, affirming that the Palestine National Authority will spare no efforts to stop these harmful operations", the spokesman said
