A Qatari newspaper has described Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's visit to Qatar as "a great opportunity to further boost the fraternal relations between the countries."
Sheikh Khalifa arrived in the capital city of Doha earlier this week on a two-day official visit at the invitation of the Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Gulf News reported.
In its editorial Tuesday, Al Watan daily stated that Sheikh Khalifa’s visit comes "against a background of significant developments at the Gulf, Arab and international levels", affirming that these developments were the main focus of talks carried out by the two parties within the framework of mutual coordination and consultation between them.
“The visit culminates the eternal affinity that link the peoples of the two countries”, Al Watan added. (Albawaba.com)
